HYDRAULIC NUT & BOLT
FROM RIVERHAWK
Riverhawk Hydraulic Nut (HTN) is designed to eliminate inaccuracies in conventional bolt load torqueing that arise from stud twisting and friction losses at the nut face and thread interfaces. Its compact standard sizes are perfectly suited for confined spaces or situations with envelope restrictions.
Whether you’re tensioning a single bolt or multiple bolts simultaneously, our hydraulic nut ensures uniform compression of casings, flanges, bearing housings, or connecting rods. The enhanced tensioning return of the nut eliminates excessive and erratic bolt loads, while the multi-bolt tensioning feature reduces assembly and maintenance time. Moreover, our hydraulic nut requires a minimal number of operators, facilitating quick and easy installation and resulting in cost savings.

Overview of the Hydraulic Nut
-
Unique Metal-to-Metal Seal Design: Ensures a secure fit.
-
Environmentally Robust: Tolerant to harsh environments.
-
High-Temperature Applications: Suitable for applications up to 500°F.
-
Water Charged: Available for special applications.
-
Multi-bolt Tensioning: Simultaneous “Daisy Chaining” provides uniform clamp loads and reduces assembly time.
-
Versatile: Accommodates confined spaces and envelope restrictions.
-
Inherent Safety: Forces act along the bolt axis, not through torque reaction arms.
-
Compact and Customizable: Available in compact standard sizes and custom designs.
HYDRAULIC BOLT
The Riverhawk Hydraulic Bolt (HTB), with its integral design, is remarkably compact in terms of stud length. This makes it an ideal choice for applications where space is at a premium. Its unique feature is the hydraulic tensioning system, which is conveniently located within the bolt head.
You can also connect several HTB hydraulic bolts via a simple hydraulic series connection (daisy chain method)

If you’re looking to combine the advantages of hydraulic tensioning with a quick and straightforward installation, the Riverhawk Hydraulic Bolt System is an excellent choice. One of its key benefits is that the Hydraulic Bolt doesn’t need to be removed post-tensioning. This feature significantly reduces assembly and maintenance costs, making it a cost-effective solution.
